How long Brazilian wax lasts?Everyone’s hair growth is different, thus it is difficult to provide an exact timeframe. Typically, pubic hair growth can be observed within 3-4 weeks. To ensure stress-free maintenance, schedule a monthly visit to Lush Language.
-
Do I need to be really hairy before my wax?If it is your first time waxing, we recommend you not to shave at least 10 days prior (2 weeks preferably). We recommend waiting 4-6 weeks between wax appointments, but if you need to see us sooner for a freshen up, we certainly will accommodate you. Does it hurt? Bottom line, you're pulling hair from the follicles, so yes it will be a little uncomfortable. To ease the pain, exfoliating the area in the shower before your service. Also, we recommend you to drink water the day of your appointment and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior. If it is your first time and you find it uncomfortable, it gets easier every time. We promise!
-
How many waxing sittings do I need until I see the results?Waxing can be completed in just one session. The results are immediately visible, allowing you to see the benefits of your waxing experience right away.
-
Is waxing safe for my skin?Generally, waxing is safe and effective for all. We use specially formulated wax to soothe even the most delicate skin type and reduce hair growth. But we recommend to consult with your dermatologist, if you have sunburned skin or currently undergoing any skin treatment. Although temporary, mild rashes, swelling, or skin bumps are common side effects that may last up to a maximum of two days.
-
What should I expect immediately afterwards? You may be a tad red and sensitive up to 24 hours after the service. We recommend not working out, or having sex within 24 hours.
-
How long will it take to get my eyelash training certification? Our eyelash certification courses run for limited number of days, depending on the project requiremnet. We provide you with practical and theoretical knowledge. Ensure that you do not have anything else scheduled on the days of our intensive course. Dial 843-879-3866 to confirm your starting date! Do I need a license to take the training ? No. We do not require a license to take the training, however you do need to be licensed in the state of SC to perform eyelash extensions. How long does it take to apply lash extensions?Lash extensions are applied while you are laying down with your eyes closed on a comfortable spa bed. The service takes approximately 1.5 -2.5 hours depending on the lash set of your choice. It is a relaxing, non-invasive service and most of our client take this time to catch a "lash nap"
-
How do I take care of my lash extensions?Do not get your lashes wet 24 hours after application Do not rub, pick, or pull at your lashes Try to avoid exposure to heat, steam, sauna and friction Use water-based lash shampoo recommend by your lash artist Use an oil- free eye makeup remover Schedule refills every 2-3 weeks
-
How long do they last?Based on the growth cycle of eyelashes, your body naturally sheds about 20% of your natural lashes every couple weeks. When a natural lash sheds, the extension attached to the natural lash falls off with it. That's why we recommend a refill appointment every 2-3 weeks. During this appointment, your artist will assess, replace, refresh, and fluff your lashes.
-
Is getting eyelash extensions safe?Yes. Eyelash extension procedure is a safe and painless, and you can even indulge in a cup of coffee or doze off during the procedure. Nonetheless, those with sensitive skin or sinus issues may experience some minor discomfort, which is typically temporary. Contact our lash expert to ensure the correct weight and length of extensions to be applied on your natural lashes.
-
Can I apply mascara to my lash extensions? No, we do not recommend you to wear mascara. Do not use any oil-based or waterproof products on or around your eye. Waterproof mascara and any type of oil based mascara dissolves the bonding agent of the extensions and will cause them to fall out prematurely.
-
How long does the makeup session take?Indulge in our expert makeup sessions, designed to enhance your beauty in just one hour. Our skilled makeup artist will work their magic to create the perfect look for any occasion, ensuring you walk out feeling confident and radiant within just 60 minutes.
-
Do you provide free trials? We do not offer a trial run for your wedding glam however, we highly recommend it. This allows us to ensure that your hair skin tone/texture are as similar as possible to the day of the wedding or special event. It gives you time to consider your look and make any necessary adjustments. Also, it's the perfect opportunity to meet the artist who will be with you during makeup and preview your look.
